Make a bonfire light primary resource

Learn how to make a flame-free lantern to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night

This Bonfire Night primary resource teaches children how to make a Bonfire light lamp using step-by-step instructions.

Pupils will be challenged to follow the instructions to make and design their own flame-free lamps in our National Geographic Kids’ Autumn primary resource sheet.

The teaching resource can be used as a printed handout for instruction in class time, or for display on the interactive whiteboard.

Activity: Ask children to complete the task on the page and adapt it for their own individual designs, using different patterns. There are also activity suggestions for making a leaf crown, an autumn outdoor art work and taking part in a game of conkers.
