Nestled in beautiful woodland on the edge of one of the Netherlands’ most breathtaking national parks, Efteling is a magical, unique theme park.

Unicorns, fairies and forest animals surround you, while fearless thrill-seekers are spun upside down, hurtling through loops, twists and hair-raising turns.

Awesome attractions

There’s something for everyone to see and do at Efteling. Choose which of the park’s six scary rollercoasters you’ll ride, including the Python or the ‘duelling dragons’ coaster, George and the Dragon (above). Will your dragon beat your rivals’ to the end of the track?!

Then, when your head’s stopped spinning, stroll over to Efteling’s enchanted Fairytale Forest to meet your favourite storybook characters. Nearly 30 characters are waiting to be found among the trees, including Cinderella, Pinocchio and Hansel and Gretel – just beware of the witch and her snarling cat! You might also find the Fairytale Tree, whose branches and leaves flutter in the wind as he tells fairy stories.

Mystical palace

Efteling’s largest attraction opens its doors this summer – the Symbolica Palace of Fantasy! This indoor family ride takes you on an adventure courtesy of the King, whose magic jester Pardous will guide you through the experience. Follow him along secret corridors and into magical rooms, where nothing is what it seems!

Magical nights

As the sun goes down, feast your eyes on Aquanura, Europe’s largest water show, where 200 fantastic fountains ‘dance’ and light up to music! Then, after all the crazy fun is over, settle in at the brand-new Loonsche Land Hotel and Village, where you can spot squirrels, hares, rabbits, bats and maybe even deer! Will you choose to stay in one of the themed rooms up in the trees, below ground or on stilts in the water? Get ready for adventure!
