The recipe primary resources available to download here have been supplied by WWF UK, to help children to consider how the food we eat has an impact on our health as individuals and on the health of our planet as whole through the promotion of Wear it Wild day on 20 October 2017.

Pupils will be challenged to follow instructions to complete various recipes; including baking banana cupcakes, cooking vegetable jungle curry and creating veggie dippers to enjoy with lion head houmous.

The teaching resource can be used as a printed handout for instruction in class time, or for display on the interactive whiteboard.

Activity: Ask children to complete the tasks on the page or adapt them for their own individual designs, colours and patterns.

WWF is calling for schools, businesses and local groups to sign up, dress up and fundraise for our planet’s wildlife and the need to protect it. Register to view Wear it Wild’s free educational material here: wwfwearitwild.education.co.uk
