This Culture primary resource is a fun, festive quiz for children, covering a range of Christmas themes and topics. How did Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem? What was Ebenezer Scrooge’s catchphrase? Which country is the Christmas tree a gift from?

Pupils will be asked 24 questions about Christmas in our National Geographic Kids’ Christmas quiz primary resource, divided into six rounds: festive trivia, films & books, music, food, Christmas around the world and the Nativity story.

The teaching resource can be used either as a printed handout for each pupil, or for display on the interactive whiteboard for a group/class activity.

Answers to the quiz can be found at the bottom of this page.

N.B. The following information for mapping the resource documents to the school curriculum is specifically tailored to the English National Curriculum and Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.
