ONE lucky reader will WIN a bundle of brilliant Egyptian treasures! We’re asking readers to design your own amazing amulet and tell us what special powers it has.

But what is an amulet?

Moulded and pierced amulet in the form of the eye of Horus. Egyptian (XXI Dynasty, Third Intermediate Period);
1075 – 945 B.C.

In Ancient Egypt, an amulet was a lucky object believed to bring powers or protection to whoever wore it. The trinkets were designed to look like animals, symbols or objects which had special meanings.
