English Primary Resources

Develop children’s spoken language, reading, writing and vocabulary with our English primary resources suitable for the National Curriculum and Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.

Our primary resources promote English learning; focussing on language and literacy subject areas such as reading, writing and comprehension.

National Geographic Kids also has resources on handwriting, word categories, story frames and grammar and punctuation. Use our resources on films and film reviews in lessons on writing and comprehension, to provide opportunities for pupils to write their own film reviews, or write their own short synopsis’ of films.

We also have fun resources to build upon children’s phonic knowledge; this includes studying and practicing animal sounds, to help with blending and recognizing phonemes.
