Kick-start the new school year with National Geographic Kids and Collins!

Make back-to-school exciting with our creative competition, exclusively for teachers! You can have fun, learn lots, and win some incredible prizes…

What you need to do:

Head outside and get creative! Make the most of the changing seasons, and get your class designing awesome posters that showcase their school’s natural environment. Kids can use words, drawings, photographs – or a combination of all three – to show what they love most about the world outside their classroom window. From a simple flower drawing, to a detailed photo story about the local squirrels, any and all posters highlighting the amazing natural world will be considered!

What’s up for grabs:

The winning entry will receive a year’s worth of National Geographic Kids magazine subscriptions, with free monthly gifts for the whole class and their teacher too! And that’s not all…everyone will get a copy of the book, ‘A Year of Nature Craft and Play’, by Collins, AND have a virtual Q&A session with the authors, Becky Goddard-Hill and Catherine Hughes, too. How awesome is that?!

How to enter:

Tell your learners all about this amazing competition and get them exploring at school. Don’t forget to share with other teachers too and see who WINS the big prize! Entries can be submitted individually, in groups, or as a classroom project – simply upload your entries using the form below. Only teachers may enter on behalf of their learners.

Now isn’t that a great way to kick-start the new school year?!
