Inside the book he calls home, adventurous Harold can make anything come to life simply by drawing it with his magical purple crayon. But when he draws himself in the real world, he realises that real life is trickier than he thought!
Things get even more difficult for Harold when the power of unlimited imagination falls into the wrong hands. Can he and his friends use all their creativity to save life in the book and the real world?

The magic crayon transports Harold and his pals Moose and Porcupine into the real world where they become humans. Let’s meet the awesome trio…
Harold
Harold is whimsical and joyfully optimistic. He’s leapt from the pages of his book and is eager to explore the real world with childlike wonder.
Porcupine
Energetic, daring and completely thrilled by her new human form, Porcupine flaunts her coolness and newfound opposable thumbs.
Moose
Less gullible than Harold, Moose is anxious, sceptical and cautiously curious. He prefers the safety of the book world and wants to return home.
Make a wish activity!
In the film, Harold can make any of his wishes come to life simply by drawing them. Cool, right? If YOU had the power to make your wishes come true, what would you wish for?
Grab a piece of paper and follow these steps to help you figure out your ultimate wish!
Step 1
Start by drawing FIVE boxes and writing down your top FIVE wishes in each one.
Step 2
Now imagine you can only make four wishes. Cross one of them out!
Step 3
What about your top three wishes? Underline the ones you’d keep.
Step 4
And your top two wishes? Put stars next to them.
Step 5
Finally, draw a circle around your number one wish – the thing you want more than anything else in the world.
Hooray! You’ve chosen your ultimate wish – let’s hope it comes true…
