Imagine heading on a South African safari, without having to leave the house…

Imagine no more! Thanks to Google Street View and South Africa 360, you can now follow in the footsteps of cheetahs, elephants and lions as you explore South Africa’s National Parks in virtual reality!

The journey will take you through 19 of the country’s incredible National Parks, including Table Mountain National Park, Garden Route National Park and Kruger National Park.

South Africa 360

Observe a bull elephant on your travels!

Navigate the parks in 360-degrees as your guide talks you through the area and discover cool video clips about your favourite African creatures.

Some of the sights you’ll see on your tour are an elephant graveyard in Kruger National Park as well as some incredible views from Table Mountain. Not to mention walking with elephants and tracking cheetahs — the fastest land mammal on Earth!

Over 200 volunteers coordinated by Drive South Africa travelled over 50,000km with a clever camera to capture the entire VR experience — and we think you’ll agree it’s absolutely roar-some!

Experience it for yourself at discoverafrica.com!
