With museums open daily 10am – 6pm and FREE to all, there are plenty of exciting discoveries to be made, including the Museum of London collections – home to 90,000 objects with more being added – online at museumoflondon.org.uk.
Join in the fun at their weekend event – Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 June – at the rip-roaring Recycling Challenge at the Museum of London Docklands, and set out on a mission to find new and imaginative ways to care for our planet! Find out more.
Get crafty
Crafty kids will get the chance to design an eco-happy London of the future, while wannabe musicians can record a song on their handmade recycled instruments as part of an orchestra.
Get inspired…
Sit back, relax and discover the story of the first junk playground in London, and hear the inspirational story of the woman who came up with the ingenious idea – Lady Allen.
Get recycling!
The festival will encourage you and your family to think about recycling, how to care for our environment and live sustainably – all while having fun, too!
There’s something for everyone to enjoy as you become eco-champions for the day!
Developed in partnership with eco-councils from local primary schools, the activities are designed to teach you about our awesome environment in new and exciting ways.
