What you’ll need…

Balloons
Funnel
Dried lentils
Scissors

Step 1

How to make juggling balls for kids

Blow up a balloon and keep it inflated for 30 seconds to stretch it out. Deflate it, then use the funnel to pour in the lentils so the balloon’s firm but squeezable.

Step 2

How to make juggling balls for kids

Snip off the raised ring at the end of the balloon. Now cut off the neck of a second balloon and stretch it over the full balloon (tucking in its neck as you do it).

Step 3

How to make juggling balls for kids

Cut the neck off a third balloon, and stretch it over the other two, so your lentils don’t escape. Make two more similar-sized balls and then get juggling!

TOP TIP

To really put your circus skills to the test make an extra ball! Can you juggle with all four of them? Your family will be mega impressed!
